【鹅卵石介绍】
鹅卵石（砾石）滤料，俗称承托层滤料或垫层滤料，分（天然）鹅卵石和（机械加工）石英砾石两种。
鹅卵石滤料是经过天然河流采挖、筛选、水选而成，球状形纯白色和杂色，加工有机制卵石及石英砾石。本产品无杂质密度2.66，含硅量98.5%，机械强度7.5，用于自来水厂、机械过滤器、阴阳离子交换等必须材料。
鹅卵石主要化学成分是二氧化硅，其次是少量的氧化铁和微量的锰、铜、铝、镁等元素及化合物。它们本身具有不同的色素，由于这些色素离子溶入二氧化硅热液中的种类和含量不同，因而呈现出浓淡、深浅变化万千的色彩，使鹅卵石呈现出黑、白、黄、红、墨绿、青灰等色系。
卵石按其外观和形状可分为很多种，有抛光和亚光卵石。卵石有很多种颜色，它是自然形成的酷似鹅卵形状的岩石，表面圆滑，与水泥的黏结较差，拌制的混凝土拌合物流动性较好，但混凝土硬化后强度较低。品质坚硬，色泽鲜明古朴，具有抗压、耐磨耐腐蚀的天然石特性，是一种理想的绿色建筑材料。

【鹅卵石用途】
1、建筑，鹅卵石普遍使用于一些欧式建筑和公园路面。在很多人的院子里都可以看到鹅卵石小径，使用鹅卵石铺砌路面可以增加建筑物的美感。
2、园林，鹅卵石是可以净化水源的，有一定的排污的作用。所以在一些有水流的园林里会使用鹅卵石作为过滤系统。
3、保健，鹅卵石可以做成按摩器。很多人使用鹅卵石按摩鞋进行脚底按摩，鹅卵石可以通经活络，有一定的活血作用，对于老人来说可以延年益寿。
4、应用于公共建筑、别墅、庭院建筑、铺设路面、公园假山、盆景填充材料、园林艺术和其它高级上层建筑。

天然的鹅卵石是经过大自然的洗礼的，比较纯天然，质感是比较冰凉的。天然的鹅卵石一般在地底下经过了几千年的摩擦和冲洗，是比较值钱的。人工合成的鹅卵石的价格相对而言低一些，人工合成的主要是通过对一些石头进行抛光处理，人工合成的鹅卵石质感会有点树脂的感觉，不够冰凉，所以价格低一些。现在我们看到的大部分的鹅卵石小径都是使用人工合成的鹅卵石铺砌的。
